Sends while your laptop is closed, at the seat's own pace.

HeyLead's scheduler runs in the cloud. It plans each person's next step, sends Monday to Friday 08:00 to 22:00 in your time zone, makes no LinkedIn call between 22:00 and 08:00, keeps invitations under the seat's ceiling, spaces every send by minutes, and backs off when LinkedIn pushes back. Every number below is what the code enforces.
What runs, and when
| Rule | What the scheduler does |
|---|---|
| Sending window | Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 22:00 in your time zone by default. You can choose another window in Settings, or let a campaign ignore it. |
| Quiet hours | No LinkedIn call at all between 22:00 and 08:00 in your time zone, for every campaign and every job. On unless you switch it off. |
| Spacing | 20 to 40 minutes between invitations and 20 to 35 minutes between follow-up messages on a seat, at a random point in the range. |
| Invitation ceiling | 20 a day and 100 a week on a free LinkedIn account; 168 and 320 on Premium or Sales Navigator. The day resets at 00:00 UTC; the week is a rolling seven days. |
| Profile reads | At most 150 a day per seat in a rolling 24 hours, across every campaign on it. When they are spent, discovery waits. |
| Backoff | A rate-limit refusal pauses that action on that seat for 5 minutes; each further refusal doubles it up to 6 hours; a success steps it back down. |
| Your time zone | The one you set with the quiet hours or the window, else the location on your LinkedIn profile, else London. |
Each person, replanned
The scheduler does not run a fixed sequence. As accepts, replies and signals land, the agents plan each person's next step: warm-up, invitation, opener, follow-up, InMail, email, or nothing. When a seat reaches its ceiling it plans no more invitations and carries on with openers, follow-ups and replies. Every decision is readable with inspect or on the campaign page.
Pause, stop, resume
- Pause one campaign at any time;
emergency_stoppauses everything. - When a seat's LinkedIn session ends, every send is parked, not failed. You get a reconnect link; once the seat is back, the parked work is queued again.
- Nothing is sent until you say launch. A campaign is a draft until then.
A worked example
Monday 08:00, London, a free seat, 40 people in a new campaign. The scheduler warms up the first few people (a profile view, a follow) and sends the first invitation at 08:24, the next at 08:57, and so on: 20 invitations by late afternoon, then none until Tuesday. On Wednesday three people have accepted; their openers go out 20 to 35 minutes apart once you approve them. On Thursday LinkedIn answers one invitation with a rate limit: invitations on that seat pause for 5 minutes, then resume. By Friday 22:00 the week's count reads 100 and invitations stop until Monday's rolling window frees the first ones. The people, the times and the counts are an example.
Limits, in numbers
- HeyLead sends from your own LinkedIn account at a human pace: at most 20 invitations a day and 100 a week on a free LinkedIn account (more on Premium or Sales Navigator), Monday to Friday 08:00 to 22:00 in your time zone, minutes apart. It backs off when LinkedIn pushes back and resumes on its own. You can pause any campaign at any time.
- Quiet hours 22:00 to 08:00; profile reads 150 a day per seat; at most 8 InMails a day per seat.
- Backoff from 5 minutes to 6 hours, per seat and per action.
HeyLead is not affiliated with LinkedIn. It reaches LinkedIn through Unipile, which is also not affiliated. The full rules per plan are on LinkedIn limits explained; what the messages say is on messaging.
