# How to use the company milestone post signal for partnerships

Last updated 26 October 2026

Reaching out after a company milestone post signal helps you find partners or investors, and HeyLead automates this process for you. This signal shows momentum. You can use it to reach the people who can sign a partnership or an investment.

## What the company milestone post signal is

HeyLead is an AI agent for LinkedIn outreach: it finds the right people, writes to them in the voice of your own LinkedIn posts, follows up, and handles replies. It runs from Claude Code, Cursor, any MCP client or a web dashboard.

A company milestone post is a public update about a major achievement. This signal shows momentum. HeyLead watches 40+ signal types, scored, matched to your ICP and expiring. A strong signal starts outreach and the opener says why now.

## Why this signal matters for partnerships

Momentum creates opportunities for collaboration. When a company shares a milestone, they are often ready for new investments. You can use this signal to reach the people who can sign a partnership or an investment. The fit question HeyLead asks is whether this audience can sign a partnership.

HeyLead has 6 campaign goals: sell a product or service, find a job, hire people, find partners or investors, find a vendor, research interviews. Hire people, find partners or investors and research interviews work with a custom brief.

## What to write to a potential partner

Your message must focus on the partner. Congratulate the milestone. Propose 1 concrete thing to try together. Keep your request clear and direct. Acknowledge their specific achievement. Mention the milestone early in your note. Connect their success to your proposal. Suggest a quick chat to discuss the partnership. Keep the focus on their growth.

Before an invitation, HeyLead warms up: a profile view, a follow, a comment on a recent post. It reads your own LinkedIn posts to learn your voice and never posts unless you ask for a post.

## The brief to type into HeyLead

You type a 1-sentence brief in Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT or the HeyLead dashboard. 1 sentence creates a draft campaign. You review it and press Launch. Nothing is sent before. The custom brief must say what you ask of the person. You can specify the partnership details.

1. Open your MCP client or the HeyLead dashboard.
2. Type your 1-sentence brief.
3. Review the drafted campaign.
4. Press Launch to start.
