# The LinkedIn company hiring post signal

Last updated 22 October 2026

When you plan your LinkedIn company hiring post signal outreach, HeyLead handles the work.

## What the company hiring post signal is

HeyLead is an AI agent for LinkedIn outreach: it finds the right people, writes to them in the voice of your own LinkedIn posts, follows up, and handles replies. It runs from Claude Code, Cursor, any MCP client or a web dashboard.

The company hiring post signal means a company posted about open roles. The source is a company's page or hiring on LinkedIn. HeyLead reads the company's LinkedIn page. It looks at the posts, the reactions and comments on them, and the followers.

Other signals in the same source include hiring_surge, company_milestone_post, company_tech_stack_post, company_post_comment, company_post_reaction, and company_follower.

## Why this signal matters and its limits

HeyLead watches 40+ signal types. Each signal is scored and matched to your ICP. The company hiring post signal has a weight of 0.4. Scores run from -0.30 to 0.90. A negative score lowers priority.

This signal is attached to a company. HeyLead attaches it to campaign contacts at that company. It expires after 14 days.

The signal raises priority but does not write the invite note. A strong signal starts outreach and the opener says why now.

## What to write or do

When you use this signal, write to a person at the company. Never write to the company itself. Name the company event in the first line. Ask how it changes the person's own work.

Before an invitation, HeyLead warms up. It does a profile view, a follow, and a comment on a recent post. An invitation includes a note and an opening message. You get up to 2 follow-ups on Free and 5 on Pro. It includes InMail and email fallback.

HeyLead reads your own LinkedIn posts to learn your voice and never posts unless you ask for a post. It runs from the cloud with your laptop closed.

## The brief to type into HeyLead

You type a one-sentence brief in Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT or the HeyLead dashboard. HeyLead drafts the campaign. You review it and press Launch. Nothing is sent before.

You can set one of six campaign goals. These are sell a product or service, find a job, hire people, find partners or investors, find a vendor, and research interviews. Hire people, find partners or investors, and research interviews work with a custom brief.

Opening messages, follow-ups and answers to replies wait for your approval until you switch to autopilot. Invitations, not-now check-ins and meeting nudges are not held.

Replies are read, classified and answered from the campaign's facts. Anything ambiguous is held for you. A not now reply gets a check-in in 30 days.

## Pricing and setup details

Free costs $0 for one connected account with 2 follow-ups. Pro costs $29 a month per connected account. The client's source is on GitHub under MIT. The hosted backend is not.

HeyLead works in Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop and claude.ai. It works in any MCP client and a web dashboard. It works in ChatGPT as a custom MCP app. This is tested on ChatGPT Pro. Custom apps depend on your ChatGPT plan and settings.

HubSpot is the CRM it syncs with. Google Calendar is the calendar it books into.
