On a free LinkedIn account, HeyLead sends at most 20 invitations a day and 100 in any rolling seven days. That is the ceiling HeyLead enforces on the seat, not a volume LinkedIn promises. This page has the reset rules, the pace and what changes with the plan. HeyLead is not affiliated with LinkedIn. It reaches LinkedIn through Unipile, which is also not affiliated.

Free was not measured: a fresh account is where LinkedIn's newcomer behaviour bites hardest, so HeyLead keeps the ceiling low on purpose. The paid plans were measured on two seats on 16 September 2026. The invitation ceiling belongs to the seat, not to your HeyLead plan: HeyLead reads the seat's plan from LinkedIn and enforces the matching ceiling. ## How the day and the week reset

The day is the UTC calendar day: it resets at 00:00 UTC, wherever you are. The week is a rolling window, not Monday to Sunday: HeyLead counts every invitation sent since 00:00 UTC seven days ago. InMails and messages are not invitations and do not count.

When either count reaches its ceiling, HeyLead plans no more invitations from that seat and carries on with everything else: opening messages, follow-ups and replies. It stops ahead of time because past the weekly ceiling LinkedIn accepts the request and silently discards it, so no error ever arrives.

## The pace on every plan

HeyLead sends from your own LinkedIn account at a human pace: at most 20 invitations a day and 100 a week on a free LinkedIn account (more on Premium or Sales Navigator), Monday to Friday 08:00 to 22:00 in your time zone, minutes apart. It backs off when LinkedIn pushes back and resumes on its own. You can pause any campaign at any time. No LinkedIn call at all between 22:00 and 08:00 in your time zone. Invitations on a seat are 20 to 40 minutes apart, at a random point in the range.

## InMail on Free

A free account has no InMail credits, so HeyLead's InMail fallback does nothing on it unless the person is an Open Profile member, who accepts an InMail without a credit.

### What happens when a free account reaches 100 invitations in a week?

HeyLead plans no more invitations from that seat until the oldest ones drop out of the seven-day window, and carries on with opening messages, follow-ups and replies. It stops ahead of the limit because past it LinkedIn accepts the request and silently discards it.

### Does upgrading to Premium raise the ceiling?

Yes. HeyLead reads the seat's plan from LinkedIn and enforces 168 a day and 320 a week on Premium and Sales Navigator, measured on two seats on 16 September 2026 less 5%.
